Looking Ahead to 2024: Community Anyone?
Hey Reader,
I’ve shared with you that I love Mondays. I also find the New Year to be a time of reflection, change, and intention setting. I’ve evolved away from New Year’s Resolutions and repeated weight-loss or fitness goals, and towards purposefully checking in with my direction in life. Am I on a track I feel aligned to and generally good about? What are the possibilities looking ahead? Are there any big life decisions to make in the year to come?
This year, I keep coming back to the words “building” and “stasis”. Across aspects of life, from building this wee mission-based business to knowing one child heads to middle school and one into pre-k I am seeking a form of digging in where I am. Building foundations, finishing unfinished home projects, connecting on a deeper level with clients and friends and generally getting cosy in the here and now.
Building Community in 2024
I have a desire to build more community full of leaders seeking to intentionally grow themselves and create team environments where work sucks a little less. These leaders seek leading with more humanity and care than many current work environments seem to allow, and the dissonance between their environment and what feels authentic to them creates this sense of loneliness we can overcome together.

As I build out the broader platform, I’m going to be hosting intimate peer groups of folks for coaching and conversation aligned with goals and career stages. This is a 6 month commitment as you are also building new relationships outside of your current company, or even industry and developing a sense of connection and belonging.
