We believe with intention, inclusion and impact, all bosses can be good managers and great leaders – with the right training and support in place for them and their teams to thrive.
To rid the world of toxic workplaces by supporting Managers.
We exist to inspire, empower, train and coach the next generation of Good Managers. Who care deeply, challenge directly, impact their businesses and lead as whole humans.
Lack of training, poor role models and increased pressure in middle management are colliding with dramatically different leadership desires from rising generations.
That’s where we come in.
I’m Alison, a certified coach who helps Leaders rise to their full potential, overcome burnout, and enjoy a fulfilling and impactful career.
You’re a rising leader, passionate about people – maybe you’re also feeling out of your depth and overwhelmed at work (and maybe at home too!). It’s likely been a long time since you put yourself first, took a step back and invested in your true wellbeing.
You are worthy. And you don’t have to walk alone!
Beginning in 2019, Alison pursued her education as a Life and Career Coach through the Learning Journeys International Center for Coaching while balancing her Director roles at Target. A life-long learner, she immediately applied Coaching to her leadership style which allowed her to scale to a VP level. In 2022 she sat her final exam to gain accreditation through the International Coaching Federation.
The common thread in Alison’s background in solving real problems for real people. Building on roots in Information Architecture, Graphic Design and general “sense-making” she leapt into UX and then Product Design with a deep passion. A born leader, she quickly became charged with nurturing teams to create and make, while driving strategy, organizational design and prioritization. Her most recent roles were at the VP-level, leading cross-functional teams in Creative Service and UX.
Alison was awarded a Woman in Business award for her work leading teams at Target, and her work in the community promoting candid conversations about gender diversity, before the LeanIn and MeToo movements began.
In 2013, Alison founded Mpls MadWomen – aimed at sparking connection through candid dialog on women’s experiences at work. Years of board leadership and expansion followed. Alison is now the Founder Emeritus and supported of the evolved yet sustained non-profit that pivoted towards mentorship programming.
